Each piece is made by hand, and variation is part of the work itself. Differences in glaze movement, surface texture, and form are not defects — they’re intentionally preserved artifacts of process. No two pieces will ever be exactly alike. And that’s the point.

This is the exact heavy-weave slab canvas I use to achieve the distinct texture on my pots. After many requests, it’s now available here in the shop. Made of extremely durable #4 cotton duck, this slab canvas will hold up to years of hard use (as I can personally attest). Comes unhemmed; some fraying is normal and inconsequential.
