Not small batches. Individual pieces.
Everything you see here is made by hand, one at a time, by me, without the use of molds, templates, or even stencils, for that matter. Every piece is truly one-of-a-kind, each with its own character. Minor “imperfections” in glaze and shape are part of the beauty. This natural variation is a feature, not a bug.
Unlike many brands that take stock photos and sell you something slightly different (often of slightly lower quality than the item pictured), I photograph every piece I sell. The piece you see in the photos is the piece you will receive.
The Ripple Collection
This collection is inspired by the marble drapery of Renaissance sculptors. Created from a single piece of clay, without any cutting, removing, or attaching, these trays, plates, and bowls rely on curves and ripples to transform them from flat slabs of clay to 3D vessels. This fluid movement reminds viewers of the soft and malleable beginnings of the clay, inviting them to imagine the moment of its creation.
The Wrapped Collection
This collection is inspired by the visible joinery of Craftsman-style architecture. It’s all about highlighting the slab construction of the piece. The seam, sometimes fully attached, sometimes beginning to “unroll,” invites the viewer to imagine the moment the soft slab of clay was rolled up into its cylindrical shape, bringing to the front of mind the malleable beginnings of these stoneware vessels.
